Winter Rec Basketball - Winter 2025

Winter Rec basketball. Games / practices at local Yonkers gyms weeknights / Saturdays.

All players guaranteed to play at least half of every game. 

We have not finalized gym time / schedule. As a frame of reference, last year game schedule by division:

2-3rd grade boys-  Saturdays 8:30, 10, 11

4-5th grade boys - Saturdays 8:30, 10

6-8th grade boys - Fridays 6:45, 8

2-3rd girls - Saturdays 12, 1, 2

4-5th girls - Saturdays 11:15, 12:30

6-8th grils - NEW DIVISION Saturdays 1:45, 3

Practices -

WEEKNIGHTS at coach's discretion. 2-3rd grade priority for 6:30 slot, 4-5th 7:30.

6-8th grade boys typically practiced on Thurs.

6-8th grade girls are NEW, probably 7:30 or 8:30.

Winter Travel Basketball - Tryouts - Winter 2025

Competitve travel basketball in the Tri County basketball league, with games both at local Yonkers gyms and around Westchester County. Typically a 14 game schedule, with playoffs guaranteed.

Register for free today to be considered for a roster spot. When teams are finalized, there will be a separate registration to pay the $300 fee.

This is a competive travel team. Hillcrest will enter a team for each level where there is enough interest to field a team and a willing coach. Coaches will not be recruited. If there are more children registered than spots available, there will be tryouts. Playing time is strictly at the coach's discretion. 

Unlike our recreation program, the travel program is open to Yonkers residents only.
